Progress Hall was built in 1951 and has been a significant part of the community.

Our hall coordinator is Cath Fairs who can be contacted to discuss bookings

The fee for the hall hire is:

  • Commercial purpose $14/hour.
  • Incorporated Group $12.50/hour.
  • Social (eg dance/art/community group) $8 per hour.
  • For a party or function $150/session regardless of session time.
  • For a small party or function (typically 10 to 15 people) $75/session regardless of session time.
  • In addition to the relevant hire fee, hirers must pay a refundable bond of $350.

What's in the Hall for hirers

  • Air conditioning 
  • 13 large tables
  • 5 small tables
  • 55 comfy chairs
  • Crockery, glasses, mugs and cutlery for 100 people
  • Assorted kitchen utensils, dishes, saucepans
  • 2 Fridges
  • Electric oven
  • Induction cook top
  • Microwave
  • Dishwasher
  • Zip Hot water dispenser
  • 3 toilets (male, female, unisex)

Parking

There is limited parking outside the hall usually reserved for drop off and unloading.

There is plenty of parking a Gurranba Reserve, a short walk away (90m).
